Bolton Students’ Union exists to make sure all University of Bolton students Love Student Life!
We do this by welcoming you to the university at the start of each year, providing you with advice, support and key services, as well as creating a strong community of students who are just like you. You can get involved by:
It’s important for you to know that every student is automatically a member of the Students’ Union - you can just come along and get involved. You’re a member no matter what- whether you’re a young student or a mature student, if you’re from China or you’re from Chorley, if you’re a part-time student or if you study at a different campus- YOU’RE A MEMBER.
This year the SU President is Ansh Sachdeva. If you’re on campus you’ll see her around all the time, but you can also get in touch with him on email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or by dropping into the SU office. He’s here to make sure the SU is working for all students, to lobby the university to make the improvements you want to see, and to hear what you have to say about your uni life.
The SU also runs the only on-campus Shop and Licensed Cafe. They are here to build a strong community for all students - so go and have a chat to Sheila, Sarah and our friendly student-staff team at The Vista or Gill and her student-staff team at the SU Shop. We’re a charity, so every pound you spend at The Vista and the SU Shop shop goes straight back into making sure you love student life even more.
