Bolton Students’ Union - It Starts With You

Bolton Students’ Union represents all Bolton students. We're here to make sure you Love Student Life- through our advice, support, events, sports clubs and societies and representation. And as a Students' Union you are central to deciding how the organisation is led- you do this through our Leadership Race.

Leadership Race

You can decide to stand in the Leadership Race to be the Bolton SU President.  You  can do this either part way through your course or during your final year to take up the position when you graduate.

You decide to stand for election as a Student Trustee or NUS Conference Delegate.

You vote in the Leadership Race.  The President is responsible for the day to day running and decision making at the Union. The President and the Student Trustees sit on the Trustee Board, which is BSU’s overall governing body.

You can contact the President at any time by emailling . The President has been elected to represent you.  If you think there should be a campaign on a particular issue that affects students – then suggest it.
