Annual Sports Awards 2013/2014 Season

Each year the Students’ Union awards trophies to recognise and celebrate the contributions and successes of its students at the University.

These Sports Awards are presented to the sports teams acknowledging the continued commitment, dedication and successes of the teams and individual members.  More details regarding the awarding of these trophies to follow.

• BUCS Team of the Year - Men's Basketball 1st
• BUCS Team of the Year Runner-up Shield - Women's Hockey 1st
• Most Improved Team of the Year - Women's Hockey 1st
• Wooden Spoon - Men's Football 3rd
• Annual Officers Achievement Award Shield - Gelana Crouch, Women's Netball
• Annual Officers Achievement Award Runner-up - Hattie Blaydes, Women's Hockey
• Annual Officers Achievement Award 2^nd Runner-up - Lauren Knill, Men's Football
• Play of the Year - Nick Jeffs, Men's Football
