Students voted in the Leadership Race this month and elected Boluwatife Oyesola (Bolu) as the next President of the SU for 2018/19.   Congratulations Bolu!

We held more Chess sessions which are proving more and more popular with students and introduced “give it a go origami.”  A small display of origami animals and flowers made by students is located in the SU office.

Nominations in the Student Led Teaching Awards closed this month and the nominations are currently being scrutinized.  Winners will be announced at the awards evening in May.

Nominations for the inaugural Society Awards opened at the beginning of March.  Society members can vote in a range of categories to recognise and celebrate Societies and their members.  The Society Awards evening, which will be held in May in the Vista, is set to be a fantastic evening and will recognise the contributions and hard work of all the Societies at the University of Bolton.  Tickets are available now from the SU Reception.
