May is exam month and we know how stressed and worried everyone gets.  To help, we started May with Mitigating Circumstances zoom drop ins to make sure everyone is aware of what exactly mitigating circumstances are.

We held our wonderfully popular Mind Your Mate Week where we support students during the stressful exam week.  We gave out Little Bags of Happiness, Teabags with a kind message on them, we held morning tea/coffee and talk sessions in the Loft, art therapy sessions, chocolate meditations, a photobooth in the Mall and the ever-popular small animal farm which was outside on the Sward.  We finished our Mind Your Mate week off on Friday with celebratory mocktails made by Toni which were absolutely delicious.  Students were queuing down the Mall for them and everyone enjoyed their mocktail and had a great time.

The feedback we got from students was fantastic.  You were very appreciative of all the activities, especially the Little Bags of Happiness and the small animal farm.

The Student Life Awards Ceremony took place online at the end of May.  The winners were chosen by a panel of students after reading through the hundreds of nominations.  As always it was very difficult to pick the winners, as the quality of the nominations was outstanding.  It was a wonderful event and we had lots of laughs and even tears, but tears of happiness!
