A different start to the new year as most of you will not be coming onto campus and are probably still at home and having your lectures online.  The SU staff are working from home and all our activities are still online, but that hasn't stopped us from engaging with you, as usual January was a busy month.

We held a Mitigating Circumstances Drop in where we gave advice on mitigating circumstances and individual issues.  We held our usual Mind Your Mate week where we did meditation with Gill from the Chaplaincy team, offered exam wellbeing support, Danielle sourced her inner Blue Peter presenter and held a crafting session on Zoom, we posted mocktail recipes, watched films, visited the zoo, took a lovely walk around Queens Park and chilled out to our specially made chillout play list on Spotify.

Our Advisors are busy sorting out a variety of students’ issues and students are making use of the contact form on the website.

The first Speak Week of the year took place and we asked you how you felt about your student experience during the lockdown.  The response was good and a report will be posted on the website.
