We had lots of activities for students leading up to the Christmas break.  We started off with World Aids Day and finished with a stand in the Mall giving out information about good mental health at Christmas with lots of Christmassy activities in between!

The Music Society sang to us in the Mall and, as always, they were fantastic.

The SU Team hid hundreds of Elves across all campuses.  The elves were no ordinary elves though, they each had a raffle ticket attached which students had to return so they could be entered into a prize draw.  The winner received an Amazon voucher.

To help with the cost of living crisis at Christmas, and just to have some fun, we did a series of ‘Make Your Own’ sessions in the Chancellor’s Mall.    We made Christmas cards, Christmas Eve Boxes, bath bombs, handwarmers and chocolate cones.  We held master classes on Christmas present wrapping techniques and making origami figures.

To really get us into the Christmas spirit, we showed a few Christmas films in the Loft and played Grinch Grab and Reindeer Toss in the Mall.

We held our annual Christmas Jumper day and everyone looked fantastically festive.

All events were well attended, and students told us they really enjoyed all our activities.

As always during December, we did our looking after your mental health at Christmas campaign.

Merry Christmas everyone, see you next year!
