We represent around 7000 students and are located on main campus at the University of Bolton, with university buildings also based around the surrounding area and just a short walk from Bolton town centre. There is easy access into Manchester via both a bus station and train station just a 10 minutes walk away from main campus.

We are located at the heart of campus, and in the same building as the University’s support services and library with The Vista, our licensed cafe serving breakfast, lunch, light bites and a wide range of drinks, and the SU shop, stocked with on-the-go food options, study essentials and official university branded merchandise.

Over 1000 students participate in our student-led academic, cultural and social societies.

We also:

• Have a course representative network of over 350 students
• Organise and run in partnership with a local events company, the official Welcome Week for all new and returning University of Bolton students
• Our advice unit offers confidential and impartial advice to all students
• Host a full schedule of awareness and wellbeing events throughout the year

We are a charity and independent of the University, meaning that every penny we earn goes back into enhancing students’ lives and university experience, so you can also feel positive about where your marketing investment is going. We are a small union with a personal approach to all activity with our student community.

Marketing with us through our annual Welcome Fair not only gives you access to thousands of students, but also brings with it the credibility of working in partnership with the Students' Union. When communicating with our students, we are experienced and are committed to helping you achieve your marketing objectives, and ensuring that your work with us helps them to love student life even more.
