Ben (Volunteering Coordinator) visited Queens campus and held a Volunteering session where students could ask questions and find out more about volunteering.

We did our annual 12 days of Christmas events leading up to the end of the semester.  We started out by hiding candy canes throughout the university and asked students to send us a selfie so they could be entered into a competition to win a Christmas hamper.  We were very lucky that Father Christmas and his elf found time in their busy schedule to visit the SLZ and give out treats to students.  Ben did a reading at the Christmas carol service, we had an achievement tree in the Mall and an online joke competition.  We did Christmas crafting and made Christmas gifts.  We also watched lots of Christmas movies in the Loft. 

We are still receiving donations for students affected in the Cube fire which is wonderful and nomination stations for the STLAs are now up and running.
