'The Society's aim is to bring together scientists/ researchers from a variety of disciplines and sustain an environment that demands disciplined thinking, encourages curiosity, challenges existing ideas and generates new ones. Our goal is to provide an opportunity to all those interested to seek support, guidance and networking. The society comprises a community of free-standing post-graduate research students dedicated to the creation of a learning/support/networking society and the pursuit of excellence in their diverse missions.'

The main characteristics of the society are:

-Respect for individuals and their views

-Foster and promote ideas and research

-Support peers

 

Aims and Objectives of the Society

  1. Encourage and enable all students - whether they demonstrate the highest intellectual potential or whether they have struggled to reach the threshold of higher education - to achieve beyond their expectations.
  2. Make the benefits of the undertaken research available to national and global level.
  3. Ensure the support from regional and local communities.
  4. Provide information and support to seek available funding for research students.
  5. Provide assistance to seek support in professional services such as academic writing, publications.
