Description

Proposed activity of our society:

• Making and producing magazines/zines to be sold online and at events.
• Learning, social networking and guidance
• welcome packs for first years/guides, talks, tours, foodies
• trips - museums, art studios, art events, film nights

Aims and Objectives:

• Social networkng and developing indstry skills. A platofrm for guest speakers
• learning/experience on creating and self producing works at a high level
• creating a community that can give anyone an aopportunity to get involved with creative processes, workshops, trips and events.

Our society is inclusive:

• Applications are open to everyone - art is enjoyed by everyone
• Product design/business/media
• Through presentations/advertising
• Renting our group room around the whole university

Planned activites, events and socials:

• New years/Halloween magazine - produced/published online too
• Trip to Manchester museums (Fun illustration booklet/competition)
• Life drawing class for people who haven't been to one before. For beginners and advanced, giving support and advice
• Guest speaker on employability
