Hi, I’m Arthur Kaddu your Students’ Union President for the upcoming academic year. Whether you’re a returning student or you’re just about to start your 1st year – Welcome Week (aka "Freshers Week") is just around the corner and if you’re not already excited, you should be!
Myself and the rest of the Students’ Union team have been cementing the welcome week plans in terms of dates, events, and headline acts. Now we may have left ourselves with a lot to live up to after last year’s amazing welcome week but I’m 10000% confident in the fact that we’ll top it this year!
Now unfortunately I can’t reveal much more than that.
I can’t tell you the range of events going on throughout the week.
I can’t tell you the companies we’ve teamed up with to provide you with some unbelievable freebies and discounts.
I can’t even tell you the names of the headline acts signed up to perform throughout the week.
Sorry! You’ll just have to wait for the big reveal on Thursday August 13th or hope that some kind soul gives you a clue as to where you can sign up for an exclusive early reveal...
What I can tell you about Welcome Week 2015 is that building on last year’s success, there will be some fantastic acts.
Welcome Week begins on Saturday the 12th of September. That’s just a few months away!
