Wednesday- Two options!
Speed Mating! Can you make some new mates at speed? This is us helping you to get over that initial daunting feeling of coming somewhere new. It’s your opportunity to come and meet and chat to people in an informal setting. There’s also free food and drink, so what’s not to like? Come along to the Social Learning Zone any time between 11am to 3pm.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Get along to this amazing theme park just down the road from Bolton. Transport and entry tickets for the unbeatable price of £15! (fees apply). Meet at Chancellor’s Mall (where the SU is based) at 9.45pm
Thursday from 12pm- Roller Disco! Feeling like it’s New York in 1989? Come along to this FREE event where everyone is welcome. Includes instructors and all the safety equipment you need. Numbers are strictly limited. £5 deposit returnable on attendance (small admin fee applies).
Friday at 11am onwards- it’s our one and only Scavenger Hunt! We understand that coming to university is a major step and we also know that trying to navigate around campus can daunting.
We’ve organised a scavenger hunt for you to get to know the campus a bit better. You will be given clues and will have to work your way around campus, answering questions as you go! The winning team are the ones who complete the hunt the fastest and with the most correct answers.
Teams can be a maximum of 6 and minimum of 4 and the winning prize will be vouchers for a trip to the Chill FactorE in Manchester so you and your team mates can experience the UKs longest indoor skiing and snowboarding slope!
