Board of Trustees

Bolton Students’ Union is governed by a Board of Trustees, who ensure that Bolton SU is operating properly and in the best interest of students.

The Board meets 5 times a year and there are 6 members of the Trustee Board.

The President and some elected students take up places on the Board of Trustees alongside five outside Trustees – volunteers from high profile outside organisations who add knowledge and expertise to what we do.

Trustees are also accountable to the Charity Commission and ensure we make sound financial decisions, obey the law and respond to the needs of all students.

Responsibility for the day to day running of the Students’ Union is delegated to the General Manager and staff team.
