Join us for a day of diversity as we come together to support Hate Crime Awareness Week this February through our ‘Respect’ event. We’ll be joined by local and national agencies & organizations to create awareness of Hate Crime and the importance of respecting one another. The Madame Mayor of Bolton will open and close the event, along with live monologues from the Octagon Theatre group, information stalls and a special balloon releasing ceremony at 1:45pm.

The Bolton News will also be attending, photographing the event and speaking to both students and visitors.

The Respect event aims to create awareness of Hate Crime not just here at the University but in our communities and beyond, so come along to help us in our fight against hate crime and get involved with our range of activities.
